I had fun together with co-bloggers trying Zumba.  I even wish that the gym near us will offer this new work-out to motivate me more to go to the gym since I really love it.  I sweat a lot for just 30 minutes of doing the Zumba dance and the very nice instructor said that the normal Zumba workout is like an hour, whew!

MYMP "The Unreleased Acoustic Collection" is now available!

Last Sunday May 8th, a few bloggers were invited to watch and hear the NEW MYMP (also known as "Make Your Momma Proud) at Robinsons Ermita. Yes you've d heard it right it's the NEW MYMP since they have a new vocalist after Juris Fernandez left the group last 2009. As of this writing, I am listening to Juris' and Juliet's version of "Sway" originally popularized by Bic Runga which is the carrier single of this album by the way.

I can't help but compare their voices and I must say that in fairness to both of them they have different and unique style of singing so you cannot tell who is the better singer.

I understand that Juliet is still so young and new in the music industry so I understand her if she is not that confident yet compared to Juris. Having enough confidence while singing is the only thing I think this sweet lady should practice more but with regards to her voice, she absolutely has nothing to worry about, it's perfect.

Most of the songs in the album are the greatest hits of the 90's such as THINK OF LAURA (Christopher Cross), "TIL THEY TAKE MY HEART AWAY (Claire Marlo), POWER OF TWO (Emily Saliers), PIANO IN THE DARK (Brenda Russell)among many other songs that topped the radio charts back then.
