If ever I will win 741 Million Pesos I will...

Last Monday, the Grand Lotto 6/55 finally had a winner (just 1 winner) from Luzon.. I'm not sure if it's from Angeles, Zambales or Subic. I even speculated that the LUCKY winner is no other than ex-President Gloria Arroyo, since she's from Pampanga (well, I hope not!). Photobucket

I have experienced winning in the Lotto, although it's only $20 or P1,000 for 4 numbers but the experience is really unforgettable since we almost hit the 61.5 Million Peso Jackpot last year (read related story here).

For the 61.5 Million Jackpot last year I was already mesmerized on how far it can already bring, and I can't help but imagine what's more with this year's Jackpot... it's a stunning 741 Million Peso.

If only I would win, I will do all these things (in any order) Photobucket
  • Pay all my debts (still praying to be debt-free 'till now)
  • Will franchise a food chain (Jollibee or KFC) and Starbucks
  • Will purchase lots of Stocks in the market
  • Will upgrade the townhouse we just bought from Camella to a huge house in Ayala Alabang
  • Will buy a family car
  • Will go to Paris, Rome, Egypt, Alaska, India, Singapore, Japan etc. (will travel the world in short)
  • Will travel all the tourist spot in the Philippines (from Luzon to Mindanao)
  • Make sure that the entire family are all healthy through proper screening and executive check-ups
  • Will give 1/2 of the winning prize to church, charity, relatives, friends and everyone (I don't need all the money)
  • Make sure that my son's future is secured by putting a million or more on a Time Deposit.
These are dreams that I want to pursue that even though I will not win the Lotto, I am still hoping that I can accomplish all these things.

Hayz! Photobucket

How about you guys, what are the things in your mind if ever you will be lucky enough to have this huge amount of money?

An unexpected winning today!

A few hours earlier I said in a post that I really missed joining and winning in contests. I thought it was an ordinary lazy day today, we are so tight on the budget that we had to share 1 order of french fries for the 3 of us. Then my sister-in-law called and asked if I would be going to the Coop's Bingo which was starting already as we speak. At first, I asked my niece if she wanted to go but she didn't want to so I decided I'll just go there myself because we might win something. So I left Ren with Hubby. After awhile, I wanted to go home already because I just kept on losing. But I decided to stay a little bit longer until the jackpot game worth P5,000.

And then the most wonderful thing happened, I had WON!

Yes, my heart almost leaped from my chest because of the excitement! :)
I hurriedly went back home to tell my hubby. As I was walking, I'm thinking "Now, we'll be able to buy fries for each one of us!" :)

Being a blogger is hard!

photo via: fallon planning
I never imagined that being a blogger is hard. I started this blog thinking that this is just a way for me to express my feelings and experiences in life. I also used this to put some interesting facts and information to gain more traffic since I also realized that through monetizing this blog, it can provide an additional income for us. Sometimes I even post public service announcements to help people who are in need of information but then, a very sensitive issue come my way a few days ago which made me realize that blogging is really hard.

A few days ago my close friend back in high school was brutally murdered, he was stabbed to death. He was a family man, he had a wife and a little kid. He recently came back to the Philippines to start a new business. And being having a family of my own, I really felt sorry for what had happened to him and I began to feel angry about the perpetrator who did this. Since I knew the power of blogging and what it could do to help people, I have seen it help a mother find his lost kid (read articles here and here), parents are helped to raise funds for their child's medical needs (read articles here, here, here and here) and help countless people who were affected by calamities get food and clothing (read article here). I have decided to post an article on my site about the said tragedy hoping that justice would be quickly served. Many of my blogger friends helped out and tried everything they could to get the word out.

But the one mistake that I regretted making was I unintentionally forgot to get the other side of the story, I know that what the suspect did was horrible and should really be punished but as a responsible blogger, I believe that there should be a code of ethics that we should follow (cyberjournalist.net). I should have gotten both sides of the story first before posting my article. So, I had no choice but to retract my previous article.

I have learned a lot because of this ordeal and I will try my best to follow this code because I believe that if we are ethical in publishing our articles, we can convey to our readers that we can be trusted.

Antonio Margarito before and after fight photo!

Congratulations to Congressman Manny Pacquiao for winning his 8th Boxing World Title. He showed that faith in God and strong will will conquer any hardships. Watching him fighting with Margarito yesterday is just like watching David killing Goliath. Margarito is nearly 6 feet and Pacman is only 5 and a half feet tall which is a disadvantage as far as the reach is concerned. But because he is bigger, Pacman took advantage of his speed inside the ring making Margarito's face bleed and swollen.

Here is Margarito's before and after photo:

Bago ang laban... Naks... Poging Pogi!
After mabugbog ni Pacman, basag na mukha ng mamang ito! tsk tsk

Our neighbors committed suicide!

What's wrong with people who commit suicides?

When I was in my teenage years maybe I in someway or the other I did thought of committing suicide when I have a huge problem especially about school but I thanked the Lord and my mother since I knew they are always there to guide me that's why I never tried to do it. Taking your life if you are facing a huge problem is not a solution. If everyone will do these when they are experiencing some problems then maybe no one is alive in this world right now. Problems are a part of our daily lives it just depends on us on how we will be going to handle it.

Having a great family, friends to lean on and a strong faith in God that He will always be there to guide us is the best solution to cope up with all the trials in life.

I am sad and mad with our neighbors who committed suicide the other week. She had a 3 years old son but unfortunately the father of his son didn't take responsibility of them. She is a close friend of my brother and cousin and they said that she didn't care if the man left her since she had a wonderful son. But, they didn't knew that it will be the reason of her taking her own life since she found out that the man already has his own family. I pity the kid that was left behind, now he doesn't have a mother and father to take care of him.

If only she surrendered herself to the Lord and let Him enter her life then maybe she will be afraid to take her own life.

I always dream I'm with celebrities!

This may sound funny but it always happen, I always dream I'm with some of our local celebrities. It's either a hunk celebrity is dating with me or a female celeb is one of my buddy, it's not a wet dreams hahaha!

Last night, I dreamed of dancing with Sam Milby and that we are really close with each other. I am not an avid fan of this guy unlike before when he was just starting out in showbiz, that's why I don't know the reason behind having him in my dreams. I heard that when you keep thinking of a person that's when the time you dream of him/her and on my part that is not true. Am I committing adultery with this dream?

How I wish that instead of these celebrities I'll dream of lucky numbers so that I can bet it in the Lottery.

Happy Birthday Dear SATI!

Sati is the youngest child of Pehpot (as of now.. hehehe!).  Pehpot is the author behind Make or Break and other various blogs (as if naman di nyo sya kilala).  Sati is the only girl child of a family of 4 siblings.  Having her makes the family happier and complete.

I first met Sati and her mommy on Nuffnang's J&J event last January (one day before my birthday!) and I must admit, I really fell in love with this little fella (ang cute kaya nya sobra!)

She celebrated her 1st birthday yesterday! Her momma invited me, but sad to say I needed to go to work that day that's why I didn't make it.

I want to make it up to you dear Sati, that's why this post is for you (sa pasko na yung gift ha!... hehehe)

ABS-CBN Station ID: Which is better the 2010 or 2009 version?

2010 Theme: Ngayong Pasko Magniningning Ang Pilipino

2009 Theme: Star ng Pasko

Both Kapamilya's Station I.D. (2010 and 2009) are outstanding, Kudos to the Director of these videos. But with all honesty, I prefer the 2009 Station ID since it's happier and we all can relate since it shows that after the tragedy of Typhoon Ondoy had made, Filipinos will stand against all odds.

In the 2009 station ID, the Kapamilya stars are all singing unlike this year where only Toni Gonzaga and Gary V. sung. I also miss some Kapamilya Stars like Mark Bautista, Rachel Ann Go, Dolphy, Maricel Soriano, of course Juday had just gave birth so she's excused, but why is it that Sarah Geronimo is not included in the 2010 video? hmmmp...

How about you guys, what version of ABS CBN Station ID you like more?

1 Day Unlimited Pass at Active Fun SM North Edsa

I haven't been to SM North Edsa for a while since it's very far from our place.  I was surprised that they have new attractions like Active Fun.  I always bring my son to Robinsons Ermita "Playbox" to enjoy playing around at their play area and so that he can socialize with other kids.  But the place is not that big and that we usually go there every weekdays after school since it's not that crowded.

I saw the pictures of Active Fun play area at SM North Edsa through ENSOGO and by looking at the pictures I can say it's so fun to be there.  I want to bring Ren there and the good news is that Ensogo has offered 51% discount vouchers for a 1 day unlimited pass, so I bought 2 vouchers for him and I conveniently paid for it through Paypal.  As of this writing, sad to say that the promo for the 1 day pass to Active Fun is already Closed.

Having a 50% - 90% off voucher in different establishments is a GREAT way to save money. This is what ENSOGO is all about, they are building a community for consumers to save. Besides saving, what I like more with this site is that 3% of every consumers purchases will be donated to the Children's Hour.  So, that means you hit 2 birds with one stone: you receive a big discount and still donate some to charity.

That's not all, if you register and subscribe to their site now you may have the chance to win an APPLE IPAD (I want an Ipad,  so freaking bad! hehehe)

So, grab your chance and who knows you might be the lucky winner!

After registration you can also invite friends and if they register and purchase using your invites you will have P200.00 credits in your account.  That's a lot of giveaways isn't it???

Check out ENSOGO's latest offering TODAY:

For Only P250 Enjoy Gourmet Comfort Food by Chef Paul Tee at Chef's Bistro (Valued at P500)

I love Ask2Link, they are so prompt in paying every 1st week of the month and they also don't have a minimum pay-out.  For those who want to earn in ads just like me then I highly recommend you to join Ask2Link.

Updates of me!

For the month of October I am not that active in the blogosphere. There are few changes in my schedule that I need to adjust my time. My son already has 3 days per week therapy sessions and as I have said in my previous post I already go to work twice a week. I know my schedule is not that tight compared to other bloggers to not be able to make a post everyday but even I can't explain why I have no time to write even just one post.

Checking my FB wall page I think consumes most of my time in front of the computer so maybe it's time to make a post first before going to the FB site.

This November, I will try my best to be active again in posting, joining contests and visiting my favorite sites again and I also want to check out new sites that I may add to my lists.

Anyway, besides the changes in my schedule, their are other things that happened in my life for the month of October.

Last October 29, I posted that I was looking for a wireless landline phone that is way cheaper than our PLDT landline (which cost  P700.00 per month). I am choosing from Bayantel and Suntel Wireless Landline. Since, we are very satisfied with our Sun Broadband internet, hubby and I decided to try Suntel. We are using it for 2 days now, and we are satisfied with it's fast connection with other landline network. Yesterday - October 31, we went to Pililia Rizal and from there I tried to call home in Manila. The connection is fast and clear, I also tried to call a landline phone in Sta.Rosa Laguna and to my surprise, it's like I am just calling a phone near our neighborhood. While driving home, I used it to call our neighbor to check if it's raining in Manila and even though we are moving and the surrounding is quite noisy (since the car's window is left open) the connection is clear and uninterrupted. So, if you want to cut your phone bills just like me then why don't you try Suntel Wireless Landline.

After a year of being a Nuffnang member, at last I already reached the minimum pay-out of P2,000.00 and last October 22 I had my 1st cash-out. Although, I still need to wait for 30-60 days before I receive the actual moolah in my bank account it's fine. I am looking forward for it since I will use it to pay for my brand new celphone.

Yes, I bought a new celphone!

Although I don't need a celphone not much as I need an internet, hubby and I realized that in case of emergencies celphone is still the fastest way to reach each other. Since I usually lose a phone, I am afraid to buy an expensive one. My original plan is to have a basic phone but hubby found out about Samsung Champ. This phone is a touch screen with MP3, 1.3 mega pixel cam, video, FM radio, and you can use it for FB and sending email. It just cost P4,800 and I used my BDO card to purchase it and the good thing is that the BDO will bill it to me next year.

How nice is that?

I hope I can also reach the minimum pay-out of Google adsense before the year end.

How about you guys, what are your October story!
