I went to the mall last weekend and I saw the Skechers' new line of shape up err tone ups sandals. The looks of the sandals are almost the same as their counterparts on the Fitflop's sandals line.

I hate cats!

From all pet animals, the one I really don't like the most are cats. I hate their fur, their smell, their look and their claws. I will prefer having a tarantula as a pet than cats.

I am not allergic to them, but every time I see one I want to kick it (am I bad? I think so..)

My nephew once got bitten by a cat because he accidentally stepped on it.  Because of that, he was given a lot of anti rabies  shots and it's very expensive.

I want to plant a watermelon!

Yes I want to plant a watermelon if only we have a huge backyard.


So, why I became interested in watermelon in rainy seasons? It is because I read that it contains almost 50% more lycopene than heated tomatoes. Lycopene is a compound that can beat some form of cancer, prevent heart attack and minimize cellular damage leading to other age-ralated ilnnesses such as arthritis and Alzheimer's disease. Also, since it is watery it will help me lose more weights.

Watermelon is easier to consume than tomatoes. Tomatoes must be cook first to release the lycopene enzyme on it while watermelon can be eaten anytime and anywhere (just don't forget to cut it first hehehe)

Hotdogs for President Noy!

I saw the video of our President Noynoy Aquino in the news the other day while he was eating hotdog in New York street with his delegations.





My first reaction was "Ano ba yan, nakakahiya naman!" (Oh my, it's shameful!). I am not a hypocrite to say that it's okay to see him eat something simple since I know he is just showing humility and also to show that the Philippines doesn't have money to splurge on expensive foods just like the former President Arroyo did for having dinner in the Le Cirqeu restaurant. But, I feel ashamed since he is not just an ordinary people, He is our President.

Is it just me who feels this?

There's nothing wrong with eating street foods but can he just make it in private? He can just ask his staff to order the hotdog for him and all his cabinet members and let them eat it in their hotel. Does he really need to show it to the media?

Well, what he did is still a lot better than what Arroyo did. For all the hotdog and drinks of his staff Pres.Noy just spend around $54 or P2,000, while Ex.Pres. Arroyo's dinner at Le Cirque cost a whooping $20,000.

I want cloth diapers!

Ren is still using disposable diapers until now. I tried to potty train him, but everytime he sits down on the toilet or on his potty, he is not comfortable and always whine and cry.

That is why after he poops, that's the only time I take off his diaper and let him wear just his shorts and sometimes nothing at all.

When he was born, I never tried to use lampin on him, since he always poops and using lampin is so messy. I never knew that there are cloth diaper that you can buy online nowadays. They are a lot better than regular lampin because of their cool features that are almost the same as disposable diapers.

You can choose cloth diapers with velcro for easy fitting and there is also just what I need, a pull-up pants for potty training. This cloth pull-up pants has a waterproof outer covering which makes it less messy.

Compared to disposable diapers, cloth diapers are cheaper in the long run because you can re-use it over and over again. Mother earth will also benefit a lot if all new born babies will use cloth diapers.

If only I found out about this cloth diapers when Ren was born then maybe I would have saved a lot of money from buying disposable diapers.

my son and I are both sick! :(

I have bad cough and runny nose today and I hate it.

Ren got it first, and now and now mama's got it too. We've been drinking lots of water and even bought oranges for the 2 of us. I hope hubby will not be sick too, we can't afford to be sick all at the same time.

I hope Ren and I will get better as soon as possible.

Glee Season 2 will Premier Tommorrow!

Glee Season 2 will starts airing in the Philippines tomorrow (Sept.22).
I am so excited to watch the second season. I even watched the all the episodes of Season1 to refresh my memory.

My favorite characters are Kurt Hummel (Chris Colfer), the gay fashionista and the voice of Rachel Berry (Lea Michele). I also like the role of Brittany (Heather Morris) because she is so funny.

What makes me super excited for Glee Season 2, is OF COURSE to see our very own Charice Pempengco. She is just an ordinary girl here in the Philippines, until Winfrey Oprah and Ellen de Generes invited her in their show. Now she was tagged as the "most talented girl in the world" by Oprah and she is now well known all over the world.

She will play the role of a Filipino Foreign exchange students named Sunshine Corazon, and will be the main rival of Rachel Berry.

So, let's all watch out for Glee Season 2.

Willie Revillame is officially on Kapatid network TV5

He can't go to GMA7 because of conflict with GMA7 talent Joey de Leon, that's why it is not a surprise that he will choose to sign a contract with TV5. Willie will do a primetime show entitled "Willing Willie".  The program is managed by Wil Productions Inc. and is co-produced with TV5.

Because of this, ABS-CBN filed a 486 million counterclaim damage suit against Willie Revillame.

Whew, that's a lot of money.  

Why does ABS-CBN won't just let go of Willie?
Will the new show of Willie in TV5 be as successful as Wowowee?
Can the TV5 network reach Filipino's abroad?
Can he make all his viewers in Wowowee follow him?

Dunkin Donut Choco Festival TODAY!

HURRY... Dunkin Donut's Choco Festival is happening today (September 18). I almost forgot it, it's a good thing I woke up early to go to the market to buy some food for breakfast and lunch.

I noticed that the Dunkin Donut store is airing music outside, and people are all lining up. Then I realized that it's CHOCO Festival today. ALL chocolate flavored donuts, muffins, and even drinks like Hot Choco and Icy Choco is available for ONLY P10.00 each.

I purchased one dozen of CHOCO WACKO, which was originally priced at P20.00 each (as per cashier). When I arrived, hubby and my son were thrilled to see the box of Donuts. But before they consumed it all I got some pictures first.
