The reason why I didn't watch the Twilight Eclipse!

I have watched the 1st and regretfully the 2nd part of Twilight, hubby and I FINALLY decided not to watch the 3rd part anymore why? It's mainly because of Kristen Stewart's acting (Bella has a deadpan expression). As I have told in my previous review of New Moon she really needs to attend an acting workshop but I think she never did that.

Sorry guys, if you disagree with me but this is my point of view.

My Birthday Wish!

I know, it's too early to have my birthday wish since I will celebrate it on January next year. But I need to answer the question "What do you want to have for your birthday and why?" for Bloggityboop birthday contest that's why I am making this post.

Oh my! I remember that next year I will say farewell on being at my 20's and welcome the life of being in the 30's. Am I excited, I don't know.. not yet!

So what are my wishes?

1st, I want my son to be able to communicate with us clearly. He can say a lot of words already but still can't speak to me about what he wants and what he feels. This is my greatest wish and I would be very happy if this will come true before he reaches his 3rd birthday this August.

2nd, that my husband will continue to have his jobs in Odesk, since as of now this is our main source of income. We are using his income from Odesk to pay for the townhouse we just brought.

3rd, that our neighbors will realized that doing bad to others will not bring them any good. All we want from them is to clear our right of way and for them to get rid of their trashes that make it had for people to pass by, and we also want that the children can play freely and safely on the alley and not on the streets.

4th, that my mom will live longer. She will turn 60 next year. Everyone of us doesn't want to get old but she is different she's been waiting to reach this age all her life. Odd? Yes I think so too! Her reason, she want to enjoy her pension and the 20% discount in different establishments nationwide.

Did you notice I haven't wished for myself? so my 5th wish is for me:

I want to be healthy and Fit AGAIN! I am still overweight by 20lbs. right now and I really  want to lose weight. I want to be fabulous when I reach my 30 next year.

Laundry Shop solutions for dirt clothes during rainy season!

I still prefer washing our clothes the natural way (by hand and letting it dry under the sun). They said that clothes last longer when washed by hands and that you will not contribute to the continuous warming of the Earth by using a dryer and washing machine.

But since it's already rainy season, I have no choice but to send our dirty clothes to a Laundry Shop since the clothes smells good after they have washed it. It is also more convenient and way cheaper than I do the Laundry at home. Not to mention that it also saves me on detergent soap, water, fabric conditioner and even some back pain and hand swelling.

I want to have a smooth and soft skin!

We just had a visitor a while ago, it was a surprise visit and because of that I wasn't prepared. She saw me in my worst attire and look. It's okay for a while but I felt bad when she made this comment after looking at my wedding picture on our wall "Is that you? you're so cute there!"

I get it, she's telling me that I am damn ugly now. I am not angry at her for telling me that but as what they always say "the truth hurts".


Three months ago, I started having a facial and massage every 2 weeks but I didn't kept it up since I have so many things to attend to everyday. That's why I always feel stressed and haggard. I don't even want to look in the mirror because I don't want to see the pimples on my face. Oh this is an ugly post I know!!!

I've been using different products from the market that promises younger looking and blemish free skin but none of them worked for me. I still felt that my face is dry and tired looking.

Maybe I need a product that is really tested by a true person. Yes, someone that will say the truth whatever it takes. I was a follower of  Frances blogs for almost a year now so based on her posts I think I already know her. Thank God, power supply is back!...

Yesterday was a dreadful day for hubby and I. The entire Luzon experienced a total black out because of the Typhoon Basyang. I can't imagine that this is just the 2nd Typhoon that hit the Philippines this year. Pag-Asa have forecasted that we will be expecting 20 more typhoon before the year's end, OMG! I am so afraid...

I am afraid not only about my family's safety during the typhoon but I will be honest I am also afraid that my husband will lose his clients on Odesk since the work they've assigned to him can not be done until the electricity and internet will be back to normal.



It's really hard if you are depending your finances in those unstable work. The salary he gets in Odesk was the one we used in paying for the brand new townhouse we've purchased. So, if ever he will lose all of his loyal clients there, then I don't know where can we can get the amount to cover all those expenses.

As of now, I am thinking of other ways to have an additional income. I have some ideas in mind and I hope I can implement them ASAP.

My son is testing my patience!

I am one of those people who have little patience. I get easily irritated by people who can't get what I want or mean. Yes, I get mad easily. I know it's bad but I am trying my best to avoid it, but sometimes I really can't.

When I was still studying, some of my classmates would try to ask for my help to teach them how to do the homework (especially math equation), I will try my best to teach them but if they ask me again and again I get easily pissed off. Of course, I don't show and tell it to them directly (since some are my friends) but deep inside, I am really irritated and I just want to go away.

Even at the office (when I was still working), when I was assigned to train a new employee I usually told them to write everything I will teach them since I don't want to repeat what I say over and over again. I also tell them that I will correct their wrong doings only once or twice but if they did it wrong again on the third time then you will be the one to report to the higher management. I think this approach to a new employee is effective since most of the people I trained are really doing good compared to those that I am not their trainee. I believe that everyone has a potential but they just don't know it if they will not be given a task that will challenge their capabilities.



NOW, as a mother and teacher to my one and only son, it's really hard to do what I usually do to older persons. It's really hard for a person like me to teach a young child what I want him to do. My head is really spinning right now! I don't know what's right and what's wrong.

I think, I became this kind of person (impatient) because at a young age as I said I already lost my father, and my mom is the only person who took care for us. Me and my siblings are always left at home. I am the only one doing my homeworks and I usually don't ask for help from somebody else. I was very independent and I am proud that even though that's my routine, I am included in the Top students in our class (that's in Elementary alright). 

Ren I think is a smart child, but he is also stubborn some times.  His teacher told us to practice his hand writing (a simple as holding the crayons and scribbling in the paper) but he doesn't want to do it.  At first I will hold his hand and then I will release it expecting that he will continue it.  But, what he will do is also release the crayons from his hands.  He doesn't want to write.

His strength is in reading. At an early age he already knows his ABC's and he counts from 1-10.  I noticed his love on reading when he always flips my collection of magazines and his father's comics books.  I always supply him with different books with hard pages and he already knows how to read some of them on his own.

But the teacher told us that besides reading he should also learn how to write.  Right now, we are both learning.  I know he will learn to write eventually and I am praying that my patience will get longer and longer.  I badly need to improve this.

Can you give me some advise how to teach a young child effectively and how to be patience in doing that.
