Good News to all Filipinos! As early as now we can already check our precinct number (just click here). This will save us time in looking for our name in the Comelec list on May 10 election.

Good to know, that I am already included in the list, since I am a newly registered voter (I just registered May last year)

Tips for Using PRECINCT FINDER:

1. Fill in all NAME fields completely as you indicated in your Application Form for registration.
2. Do not type just your MIDDLE INITIAL if you indicated your complete MIDDLE NAME during registration.
3. In case encoding errors may have been committed by your local COMELEC office:
a. If your name contains a JR, SR, II, III, IV, etc., try several variations of typing your name, as follows:

i. in the FIRST NAME field after your first name, such as JUAN JR.
ii. in the LAST NAME field after your last name, such as DELA CRUZ JR.
iii. with a period, such as JR.
iv. without a period, such as JR
v. with a comma and period, Such as JUAN, JR. or JUAN JR.,
vi. with two (or three) spaces in between, such as JUAN JR. or JUAN JR.
vii. a combination of the above-mentioned variations.

b. If your name contains MA. or MARIA, try both variations in the FIRST NAME field.

Do you want to become rich?

Who on Earth doesn't want to be rich? The only question is how and what are we going to do to become rich? I had some pointers in my mind but I still don't know if it will work.

First, you need to work hard smart, save and live frugally.  Cut all your credit cards, I know it's difficult but if you learn to live within your means then it's a piece of cake.  When you are in the corporate world do your best and save 20% of your salary to build your own business in the future.  It is also best to choose a working place that you can get information to make your future business strong and successful. Just like if you want to have your own restaurant, work in a hotel or even in fast food chain.

Second, if you have extra money, invest it in financial instruments like stock market, T-Bill and even in Real Estate.  I heard that many already gained money by just investing it in the right place at the right time.  I haven't tried this yet since as of now, I don't have extra money hehehe.

Third, if you are still young and single then be smart when choosing the person you want to be with the rest of your life.  This may sound stupid for some, but I think this is the practical and easiest way to become rich... Marry someone rich! This advice won't work for me, because I prefer someone who is just an average person but very resourceful, just like my husband.  I believe we will get our goal in due time.

Fourth, just what I frequently do, join in different kind of contests or even bet in Lottery if you feel lucky.  Who knows you might hit the jackpot.

But don't forget, if you got something good remember to give back something to Charity.  It always works for me.

What is the best teaching method for your pre schooler?

I was surprised when I was searching for a preschool for my 2 and 8 months old son, I found out that there are different kinds of teaching method in every school.

I never knew that there are traditional, progressive, DAP (Developmentally Appropriate Practice), Eclectical and Montessori kind of teaching methods.

Some said that Ren is too young to go to school, he might get bored in attending school at an early age. But since Ren at his age doesn't communicate with us yet and what he only tells is the Alphabet and Numbers from 1-10, I think we should enroll him now to enhance his language development. Besides I've learned that the critical age of a kid is between 2-6 years old. At this age, the kid's brain is at it's peak and we should nurture them all the information a young kid should know. I am a little bit worried in the delay of Ren's language development, although hubby always tells me not to worry too much, but I still can't help it. I feel that I failed to do the mother tasks because of this. That is why I want to ask for professional help (the teachers), I need to know how to teach him the right way. Enrolling him now will make a big difference than enrolling him later. Well, I think the tuition fee is the only thing that makes it hard.

I know that the traditional method will not work for Ren since he easily gets bored (Think he got that from me).  The traditional method is the common way of teaching wherein children are seated while the teacher write at the blackboard and explains the lesson after wards.

So I am still thinking if the other methods will work for him and if there is one near in our place.

Please give me some advice, I need some help here. thank you!

I will vote for Dick Gordon this coming election!

If you can give me a valid reason why I shouldn't, then I might change my mind.  But if you will just say that it's because he is performing bad in the survey then that is not enough. If I will just base my votes in popularity then what will happen to our country? We need a president that has political will and determination to make everything right.  I will vote the one who has already proven something for themselves even though they are not Presidents yet.  

Let us compare the accomplishments and track record of every presidential candidates.

So, where will you base your vote?

Remember that our children's future is at stake here.  If we vote for the wrong person, our children will be the one who will suffer  the consequences.

I don't want to make this post long, besides politics is not my thing.  I don't want to convince you to vote for Dick Gordon but I just want you to know that on the list of presidential candidates he is the best choice.

Some said that because of the survey, voting for Dick Gordon is just a waste, well I don't think so.  If you really believe in the guy and you didn't doubt him then it's not a waste at all.  Listen to your conscience and it will put you in the right path.

I still have faith in every Filipino, don't be fooled by surveys and dramatic advertisements.  Just look for the candidate's accomplishments.

A thanksgiving contest is coming up!

Hubby and I are so busy lately (work, work, work).  I remember promising everyone that I will be having a contest and I think I said it almost a month ago already. 

We will team up to make this contest more exciting.  We are still in the process of deliberating what will be the mechanics and the prizes as well.  I still don't know if I will ask for sponsors to make it more fabulous.  I have to check our paypal account if we can provide some nice prizes.
