Man or Woman?

Check out what I found.

These are some pictures of lady(or boy) from one of the Thailand pageant.  Can you guess which of the following pictures is a girl and which one is a guy?  The answer will be revealed at the bottom.

I thought that some of them are a girls, well I am wrong because they are all guys (shocking!).
These pictures are taken from the Miss Lady boy Pageant in Thailand.

Now, tell your guy friends to be careful when going and flirting in Thailand. Okay!

Lose weight and get a chance to win $100!

I came across this awesome and informative blog on losing those extra pounds.  As you guys might have known, one of my New Year's resolution is to lose my extra 20lbs.  wherein until now there is no progress yet.  It is because I haven't tried enough to do it, but I really want to get at the right shape before the year ends.

Thankfully I found this weight loss blog that focuses on providing useful, high-quality weight loss tips and tricks. The author does not only focus on the best way to lose weight but also the worst things to do to lose weight. I really love this blog because it is so easy to understand and is direct to the point. One of the lines that got my attention is when he said that " Losing weight is easy. The biggest issue people face when they get ready to lose weight is they don’t have enough will power." Yes, I want to lose weight but I don't have the will power to do it.  I hope through this blog I can get rid of those extra pounds once and for all.

Going on with our lives!

After the terrible fight happened in the neighborhood last Sunday, I haven't posted anything personal here.  It is because I don't want to post any more sentiments.  I am just trying to post anything everyday for Adgitize's sake hehe!

Now, I have cooled down.  The tension is still here, but I don't want to invite negative thoughts and feelings again.  I am so stressed and depressed for the past 2 days that even made my cold get worse.  As I've said I am not that affected by the bad words that he said to me, the real reason why my family and I feel mad is bigger than that.  Clue: now I know why ENVY is one of the capital sins, because someone can do anything just to get what they wants.  I do believe in Karma and I know even though life sometimes is unfair, still it would be okay when you let God take care of everything. We were reminded of this by our brother in law.

I don't want to waste my time and energy with them, they are not really worth it. I need to live my life to the fullest everyday because we don't know when will our time will end.  I am letting go of the negative thoughts and feelings, I want to be happy and spend my life fruitful in this world.

Sorry to those who has been affected by my story last Sunday and I thank everyone who supported and cheered me up.  Your words of encouragement really help me.

Tomorrow will be another day, I will continue my life the way God wanted it to be.

10 Expensive Watches!

I always wanted to have a Philip Stein watch, but its sooooo expensive that it's why I can't have it. Philip Stein watches price range from $500- $3,000 and because of today's economic crisis buying this kind of stuff for an ordinary person like me is very unreasonable.

But if you think Philip Stein is expensive enough think again, look at the prices of the following watches below:

"Most of these watches are more complicated than college calculus and have more history than you could learn in a lifetime. You might even need an engineering degree and an instructional tome to figure out how they work.  Regardless, all these watches (for one reason or another) are ridiculously cool and absurdly expensive. Sell the Ferrari, liquidate the stocks, and pick up one of these bad-ass timekeeping devices." from: coolmaterial.com

The Patek Caliber 89 - $5,120,000 or P230,400,000
So what makes this watch worth $5.12mil? For starters, it is the most complicated watch on the planet with 33 complications. Essentially, it requires a degree in mechanical engineering to understand, but suffice it to say it has everything but the kitchen sink. It also took more time to design than you spent in college (including those extra years “studying” chemistry).

Split Seconds Patek Philippe Reference 1436 By Tiffany & Co.$214,000 or P9,630,000

It’s emblazoned with the Tiffany & Co. name, so you know it’s gonna be expensive.  Compared to the rest of the watches on this list though, it’s actually pretty cheap. Well, you know, if two-hundred grand can ever be considered cheap. You’re getting the Patek and the Tiffany names, what else could you want? The ability to time two events that start simultaneously but end at different times – you didn’t think those fancy blue hands were just for show did you?

Patek Philippe Ref 5016P$762,000 or P34,290,000

Rounding out the Patek trinity is the Ref 5016P (The P stands for platinum, duh). This watch is the second most complicated wristwatch (the first one was a pocket watch so it doesn’t count) that Patek has produced. The problem with watches of this caliber the need for adjustments, but Patek has an app for that. If you keep this moon-phase, perpetual calendar, retrograde behemoth running continuously it won’t need adjusting until 2100.  That’s something your children’s children’s children will most certainly appreciate.

The Breguet Marie Antoinette$XX,000,000

It’s self winding, has a minute repeater, perpetual calendar, equation of time, jumping hour, power reserve indicator, and a bimetallic thermometer – everything but MMS messaging. Breguet has received offers in the eight digit range, but still refuse to sell.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Gyrotourbillon 1 $400,000 or P18,000,000

This watch is clearly complicated, but it has a feature some of the others don’t, a tourbillon. What’s a tourbillon? A wrist-mounted anti-gravity device.  Tourbillons (in the most basic terms) prevent gravity from adversely affecting accuracy. Normal tourbillons only rock one-axis anti-gravity, this tourbillon rocks two.  No word yet on when the third and fourth axis will be integrated.

Rolex Submariner $234,000 or P10,530,000

At some point in time, everyone has held, worn, or owned a Rolex Submariner.  This one is special because it was held, worn, and owned by the one and only Steve McQueen. That’s right, the “King of Cool” owned this particular submersible, self-winding, stainless steel oyster bracelet Rolex. You’re getting time, Rolex, and bona fide badassery.

Vacheron Tour de l’Ile $1,250,000 or P56,250,000

Vacheron is the oldest watch manufacturer still in existence since its inception in 1755.  250+ years of history allows them to make watches that eclipse most others.  The Tour de l’Ile has tourbillon, two faces, and more complications and parts than even the Breguet Marie Antoinette (hopefully without the beheading) making it the most complicated serial wrist watch ever made. It’s worth JUST shy of a Veyron… unless you buy used.

AP Royal Oak Grande Complication$560,000 or P25,200,000

Audemars Piquet (that’s where the AP comes from obviously) does it again with the Royal Oak Grande Complication. The Grande Complication is another watch that has a perpetual calendar accurate until long after you will no longer be alive.  It has a lot of the same complications as the other watches (minute repeater, split seconds chronograph, aforementioned perpetual calendar) but presents them in a way that doesn’t require a thousand page instruction manual just to read. Real men don’t use instruction manuals.

Richard Mille Tourbillon$525,000 or P23,625,000

Look at it. It looks like a Rube Goldberg machine had sex with the Gugenheim and the offspring was skeletonized.  Quite a few of these watches have modern elements, but none of them have the modern design that this watch does.  Made of aluminum, titanium, and awesome it would be the perfect compliment for the new clear hood you just put on the Ferrari.

Ulysse Nardin Triplejack Minute Repeater$340,000 or P15,300,000

It may be crazy, but this watch seems like holds some deep, dark, historical secret that only Nicolas Cage can uncover.  But that may just be the three Jacks “hammering the bells to separate the quarters from the minutes.” Sure, it’s more expensive than a Ferrari, but something about this watch just seems a lot less complicated. Since when did you just want to tell time with your watch?

Well, I still prefer my Timex Watch given by my lovable and thoughtful husband on my birthday last January.

What will you do if someone says bad things about you?

BEWARE: This story might be depressing so if you don't want to read it, it's fine with me.

This Sunday there has been a terrible fight in the neighborhood.  It was a very long story and my sister-in-law was the one who was involved, and of course my husband and I can't let people just beat her. I know she can handle it by herself but of course I want to be there to support her in her battles.  My sister-in-law, is a very fine woman.  She graduated in Accountancy from UST and is a Certified Public Accountant, she is a very intelligent woman.  I usually go to her for some advices, so I know she will not easily be mad for no reason at all.  Of the 3 siblings, she is the calmer and the most silent one.  They said that if a silent person gets mad then it's the worst thing to happen, yes maybe this is so true.  I haven't seen her so mad in my entire life.

To make the long story short, there had been a confrontation with my sister-in-law with the antagonist (BTW it's their cousin, he's a man, and a Barangay Kagawad in our area).  Yes, it's a fight with not just a neighbor but rather a relative.  The confrontation gets hotter because the man is so arrogant to speak (without thinking that he's even a public official).  He yelled at my sister-in-law and because of that I got mad and shouted at him too! I am the Amazona in the family, and will not let them do that to my sister-in-law.  My husband who was inside our house and just listening at us hurriedly went out and yelled at him too.  This was the conversation that made my husband got mad at him:

Man to me: Wag kang magsalita, hindi kita kausap! Isa ka lang katulong dito. (don't speak, I am not talking to you. You are just a maid here!)
My Husband: Sira Ulo ka pala e.  Asawa mo nga pokpok! (b#ll shit, your wife is a prostitute!)

Man: Bakit kaya mo ko? (Why, can you beat me?)  (BTW, he is a sporty man with lots of bulges in his body)
Noel: saying bad words

I am pulling Noel to back-up (well I am afraid that he might get hurt, and besides he just came from a flu last Friday).  I am very angry with that man because he was the first one to raise his voice and started telling harsh things (again he's a public official who must show humility, and be a role model to others).  Honestly, I am not hurt because of what that man had said to me (being a maid) because I am proud to serve my family.  I am not always wearing make-up and wearing sexy clothes but I know my husband loves me for what I am.  I think my husband's word to him is more powerful and yes it's so true.

We had a bad day  today.  I know that this is bad, and God doesn't like people fighting.  We are only human, and when you're angry you can't help it.  I hope we will get over it soon.
