I love Adgitize!

I was surprised when I checked my yesterday's Adgitize earnings for November 28, 2009 its $0.84 for 360 points. This means that the new payment scheme already takes effect.

As an advertiser you will earn $1 if you earn 400 points and above per day (I don't know the exact amount). My ads in Adgitize will expire on December 2, and for sure I will renew it, although the price increased from $14 to $24 per month. Why? Because my blog increased its traffic and still, I got paid as an advertiser. If I will earn $1 per day then at the end of the month I will have $6 from the amount I had paid for them. I also noticed that my bounce rate decreased when I started joining Adgitize, why? Because I was forced to post one article per day to earn 100 points and of course I do not only post nonsense articles because I want my readers to stay and read my post.

"New Moon" stars way back!

Do you want to see the looks of the New Moon stars way before? I found this file in US Magazine, and I want to share it to all of you:

1. Robert Pattinson- Before he was a vampire, Pattinson appeared as a wizard in 2005's Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Now, takes the role of Edward Cullen in the film adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's hit book series, the actor, 23, plays the love interest of Kristen Stewart's Bella Swan.

2. Kristen Stewart - her first major film role playing Jodie Foster's diabetic daughter, Sarah, in the 2002 thriller Panic Room (actually all this time I thought that the child of Jodie Foster's in this movie was a BOY!).  Stewart, 19, is now a household name along with Pattinson, who calls the actress as a "good friend," though they've been long rumored to be dating. "What Rob and Kristen had is a multitude of feelings for each other," Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke has said.

3. Taylor Lautner - A trained martial artist, Lautner (here in a 2008 sophomore high school pic in Valencia, Calif.) competed in the 2003 U.S. Karate Open.

Currently linked to Taylor Swift, Lautner, 17, gained 30 pounds for his beefed-up role as Jacob Black in New Moon.

4. Ashley Greene - Once an aspiring model who was told her height of 5'4" was too short to afford her a career, Greene vied for title of Miss Wolfson at Samuel W. Wolfson High School in Jacksonville, Fla. Now, Greene, 22, moved to Los Angeles at age 17 to pursue an acting career before being cast in 2008 as psychic vampire Alice Cullen in Twlight, a role she reprises in the New Moon and Eclipse installments.

5. Dakota Fanning - Before her debut as Jane in New Moon, Fanning took on leading roles in 2005's War of the Worlds and 2003's Uptown Girls. The actress, 15, adopted a shocking gothic look for her New Moon role, one she will reprise in next year's Eclipse. "[Dakota] so angelic, yet so weird," Fanning's costar Michael Sheen has said. "As Jane that is, of course. Like an evil red riding hood."

"Twilight Saga: New Moon": Movie Review

I was very eager to watch the second installment of the Twilight Saga: New Moon. With a staggering $142.8 million on opening weekend alone, I knew it was gonna be awesome, but boy was I disappointed. Our friend, Kristine was going to give us free movie passes but we decided to decline because the venue was quite far and the cost of the transportation there would be just the same as buying the tickets ourselves and just watch it at a nearer venue. So we decided to watch it last Saturday and here is my opinion and review about the movie. (Spoiler Alert!)

In "New Moon," Edward leaves Bella for her own protection because he believed that he was just putting her in danger and she takes it really hard. All through the most part of the movie all she did was writhe in pain, screams out in agony in the middle of the night that suggests she is really longing for her undead boyfriend. And during Edward's absence, there to pick up the pieces of the now broken Bella was Jacob her childhood friend who was quite fond of her. The two became closer to each other because of motorbikes, :) but before they could be anymore than just friends Jacob suddenly started to distance himself from Bella also the reason: it turns out the hunky Jacob has a gene that allows him to turn into an overgrown dog.

So here is their tragic predicament, Just like what drove Edward to leave her, if the two take the risk of being intimate together, Jacob could potentially harm her if things got out of hand between them. And all the while I just thought that they where leaving her because of her emotionless acting :) Bella still yearns for Edward, who appears to her whenever when she nearly harms herself. But when Edward thought that Bella is already dead, he decided to end his life by having The Volturi (the secret vampire council) kill him. Bella runs off with Alice to save him and leaves poor old Jacob behind. What happened when she finally met Edward there, I’ll leave it for you guys to find out. But just like the first movie this sequel ended up nearly bloodless.

Actually the exciting part of the movie for me was when Jacob and the other werewolves took their shirts off. That's all!!! Acting?? nah! Bella has a deadpan expression, Edward is okay I understand the acting it's part of a vampire thing. Jacob, hot! hot! hot!

For those who haven't watched it yet,  you should see it for yourself but don't tell me I didn't warn you about the acting part. Oh! and kudos to Alice for a job well done. Bella should have an acting workshop first before the shooting of the 3rd sequel.

My Favorite B-day Gift I ever received!

This is the topic for this week in Girl Talk, it's a very nice topic because it makes me think very hard to remember the best B-DAY gift I have received in my entire life.  It's hard since I have to identify one by one whether the gifts I received where from my birthday or from Christmas day, or Valentines day, etc. This topic also is not necessary means that the gift should be from my husband right? Oh my gosh! this is hard as ever I can't imagine.

Okay! I remember one: when I'm still in College my Bestfriends Helen and Ghie gave me different kinds of stuffs with Tazmanian Devil cover (I love Taz so much that time)  They gave me a balloon, a mug, a pillow,  stationaries, a fan etc.  It is too many that I've got a hard time bringing all of it at home.  I love it because I feel special, I am the only one in my circle of friends that received that special gifts in our birthday (and we are 12 in the group).

Another one, is from my hubby, he gave me a SWATCH watch after dinner.  It's the best gift because that is one of the expensive gift I received from him.  Unfortunately it was broken after 2 years and I accidentally misplaced it, I am careless right? Well, hubby already forgive me for that so the next time he will give a watch I know now how to keep and take care of it (unless it's cheap hahaha! just kidding)

I've got a Special Award!

Got this award from Melcole yesterday and I can't believe that she made this award personally for me. Isn't she sweet and so thoughtful?

For those who didn't know Melcole, she is a new mom, she just gave birth to her 1st born last June 2009.  Her son is a handsome baby boy named George.  Like me, she is also a  a full-time mom.  She is married to Edcole an American computer programmer and they are living together in Pennsylvania, U.S.A.

Through this blog universe I gained online friends, and I consider Mel as one.

I wish to have more friends online so I am trying my very best to comment in every blog that interests me, because like every blogger I am also delighted when someone comments on my blog (whether good or bad).  It makes me feel that I am not the only one reading my posts. 

I am also trying to post articles that are interesting and not always about my personal life, that's why I chosen a mixed blog so that I can post whatever I want and think for that day.

My blog is worth $29,338.57

While I was blog hopping yesterday, I have read one post (I'm sorry I can't remember the site) that one blogger had sold his site for 15 Million U.S. Dollars. I was shocked when I saw that, and even wished that my blog is also worth that huge amount of money.

To my curiosity, I searched for my site value in Google, and here was the result:

My blog is worth $29,338.57 or P1,349,574.22.  The appraisal is based on Domain Age, Page Rank, No.of unique visitors, Alexa traffic details, Google and Alexa Links and URL Marketability Analysis (beta).

This blog doesn't focus on anything that's why it is not worth buying for (I think!) and of course I will not sell it (not yet!) I need to improve it more, and hoping someday advertisers will beg me to post their ads here haha!

Isang Tanong: 2010 Presidential Forum in GMA7

I did not have the chance to watch the Presidential Forum on GMA7 last night.  How can I watch it?, it was aired on Sunday 11:00 PM.  Why is it that GMA decided to air it that late on a Sunday night wherein people need to go to bed early because the next day is Monday and it will be the start of the working week.  I don't go to office anymore so I am not referring to myself here, yet I am the one who still needs to wake up first to prepare food and everything .This is a very important issue that should be aired around 7:00-8:00 in the evening and not late at night.

For the sake of those like me who have not watched it, here is the complete video of the show I got from You Tube.

We almost won 61.5 Million in Super Lotto!

 It is so disappointing that we only missed 2 numbers in order to win the Jackpot in the Super Lotto worth P61,532,524.80  or $1,337,663.  This is the copy of the numbers we had bet:

1st bet: 07, 26, 37, 40, 48, 49
2nd bet: 01, 08, 12, 17, 20, 31

and here are the WINNING NUMBERS: 31, 12, 08, 07, 17, 48

Can you imagine that if we only put the 2 numbers in the 1st set of numbers to the 2nd set then we will become a MILLIONAIRE by now. It's really disappointing isn't it?

We barely bet on the Lottery because we are thinking that it is just a waste of money because there are millions of Filipinos who try their luck in Lotto and one or two out of that will be the winner.  It's a 0.00000001% that you're number will be chosen.

Yet we are still thankful that we have won $20 because we only bet less than a dollar. We will try again our luck some other time.
