Corazon Aquino died at the age of 76

corazon cory aquino

Our former president Corazon Aquino passed away at 3:00 AM today (August 1, 2009).

Corazon Aquino was known as an icon of Philippine democracy after the EDSA 'People Power' revolution removed the Marcos dictatorship and restored democracy in the Southeast Asian archipelago in 1986.

Last March 2008 the family announced that Cory Aquino has a colon cancer. Various healing masses had been held in different parts of the country after she was confined at the Makati Medical Center starting June 25. Thousands attended the masses praying that one of of the world's democracy icons would recover. Prayers and get-well messages were also posted on her website, coryaquino.ph

Her son, Senator Benigno 'Noynoy' Aquino III, confirmed that the former leader's cancer had already spread to her liver.

"Her weakened condition does not allow chemotherapy. We have reached the point where you're not sure if the intervention will help or worsen the condition," he told reporters.

Last week, her supporters tied yellow ribbons along Times St. and Examiner St. in Quezon City near Mrs. Aquino's residence, and also outside the Makati Medical Center, symbolizing hope and prayers for her recovery and as a show of support for Philippine democracy.

I think she'd just waited for the month of August, because her husband Ninoy Aquino also died at the same month (August 21). She is the only President in our country who have a clean record.

This Prayer was made by the former President entitled "Prayer for a happy death"

Almighty God, most merciful Father
You alone know the time
you alone know the hour
When I shall breathe my last.
So, remind me each day, most loving Father
To be the best that I can be.
To be humble, to be kind,
To be patient, to be true.
To embrace what is good,
To reject what is evil,
To adore only You.
When the final moment does come
Let not my loved ones grieve for long.
Let them comfort each other
And let them know
how much happiness
They brought into my life.
Let them pray for me,
As I will continue to pray for them,
Hoping that they will always pray
for each other.
Let them know that they made possible
Whatever good I offered to our world.
Is just for a short while
As we prepare for our reunion in eternity.
Our Father in heaven,
You alone are my hope.
You alone are my salvation.
Thank you for your unconditional love.

Amen!

And this was Jose Mari Chan lyrics of the song "I have fallen in love with the woman I love three times", this was a poem by Ninoy Aquino to her wife that made into song.

I have fallen in love
With the same woman three times
In a day spanning nineteen years
Of tearful joys and joyful tears.

I loved her first when she was young
Enchanting and vibrant, eternally new
She was brilliant, fragrant and cool as the morning dew
I fell in love with her the second time

When first she bore her child and mine
She's always by my side, the source of my strength
Helping to turn the tide…
I fell in love again with the same woman the third time

Looming from the battle her courage will never fade.
Amidst the hardships she has remained
Undaunted and unafraid
She is calm and composed. She is God's lovely maid.

This is my first time to hear this song, and I love it so much.

Our condolences to Aquino's family.

New born baby was thrown by a teen mom into creek

baby
This is really a sad news, I've read about this at ABSCBN news a while ago. I've assumed that the suspected mother was about 14 to 16 years old, but instead, she was already 19 years old. If she is not mentally-illed, I can say that she is already matured. I know some relatives and some friends who already became a mother at the age of 16 but they have taken the responsibility to take care of their babies. I am really very proud of them for doing that, although sometimes I believe that the child's future would be better if she was born by a mother who is emotionally and financially ready.

Anyway, the 19 year old mother has thrown her baby into a creek in Talisay City, Negros Occidental province. The residents near the creek were the one who discovered the baby's body. The umbilical cord was still attached to the body of the child and it was still covered with blood.

The Dept. of Social Welfare said that the child was thrown into the creek when it was still alive and the body probably bumped into the rocks which caused a large wound on his forehead.

Poor baby, she haven't seen the wonderful things this world has to offer.

I hope the mother will someday learn the value of life. I know that if she will ask for God's forgiveness, God will give it to her.

I also hope that those couple who are trying to conceive but are not successful, would be given the chance to have their own child. Maybe, they will be the ones who will love and take good care of their babies.

Have you heard Pres. Arroyo's SONA?

president gloria macapagal arroyo sona 2009
Before, I do not care what will the elected President will tell during his/her SONA, maybe because I'm not yet a voter at that time.  It's funny but this is really my very first time to register as a voter and I am already 28 years old.  But, since I'm already a mother I want to be a part of the political happenings in our nation, for my son's future.

Pres. Arroyo talked about strong economy we have here in the Philippines, despite of Global recession. She even shows graphs of growing IRA (what is it?), housing, school buildings etc.  but I still can't feel and see the things she was talking about.  Is it because I am not a political analyst? sigh... onion head Pictures, Images and PhotosIf only I didn't hate my Economics class, I will understand some of the terms she have used.

But why is it that most of the Filipinos are waiting for her to say that she will step out of the Presidency position once and for all.  I heard that Pres. Arroyo said on her SONA (if I am not mistaken it's year 2002) that she will not run for Presidency for 2004, but in the end she still proclaim that she will run, and that's when the "hello Garci" controversies came up.

What do you think is the legacy this administration have brought to us for them to be remembered?

Ahhhhh... I know! and it's the happiest day every time she declared it a "Holiday"...  She always moved legal holidays to the nearest Friday or Monday if the original date fall down on weekdays.

Anyway, I think it's okay because according to her it increases revenue in tourism.

Why is it that even though she's working hard for the Philippines she can't get the support and trust of the people?  In fairness with her, she is really industrious, and it's not a joke to stay in the position besides of all the problems this country is facing.  I don't know if I can do the same.

Onion Head Pictures, Images and PhotosDear Lord, please give us a credible, honest and God fearing president in this coming election (if ever there will be one!)

Get rid of Underarm Hair

underarm armpit with hair
I am very much turned off by women who wear sleeveless blouses, and do not care if there are hairs in their underarm. It's freaking me out. I am not saying that I don't have one, but I don't show it in the public if ever I had this stuff. These thing is really an endless battle for all women.

There are many ways to remove underarms hairs, but I think it depends on your lifestyle and the amount of money you are willing to spend for it.

I've got this info in ehow.com

1.Plucking
The hair is pulled from the follicle with a tweezer. This is time consumin since you can only pull one hair at a time. However, as the hair is plucked, it breaks below the surface of the skin and pierces the hair follicle, causing damage and inflammation beneath the surface of the skin. This leads to bumps (pseudofolliculitis barbae) and dark marks (post inflammatory hyperpigmentation) and because of this, it is not a recommended method of hair removal.

2. Underarm Hair Removal with a Razor
Using a razor is the most common, and by far the cheapest, method used to remove underarm hair. The drawback to removing underarm hair with a razor is that you may experience skin irritations and redness under your arm after shaving. In addition, hair grows quickly, so you must shave daily or every few days. Some of the more expensive razors claim to cause less irritation.

3. Waxing
Waxing is a very popular method of underarm hair removal. The wax removes hair follicles from your underarm. Warm wax is spread on your underarm, and then covered by a paper strip. Once the wax cools for 5 to 7 minutes, the strip is ripped quickly from your underarm, causing a sharp pain. Hair won't grow back on your underarm for about 6 weeks. Waxing is usually performed by a licensed cosmetologist. The drawbacks of waxing are cost and the pain that goes with it.

4.Depilatory Cream
Depilatory creams present another good way to remove underarm hair. Depilatory cream is applied to the underarm region, and dissolves your underarm hair. After 15 minutes, wipe your underarm clean with a warm water cloth. Your underarm hair will start to grow back in 2 or 3 weeks. Depilatory creams aren't very expensive, and can be purchased at most pharmacies, and convenience stores. The major drawback is that depilatory creams may cause skin irritation under your arm, particularly if you have sensitive skin.

I have used one before (veet) it cost P100, but not all the hair has been removed.

5.Laser
Laser underarm hair removal presents another way to remove your underarm hair. A laser is used to literally cut and remove regions of your underarm hair. Laser underarm hair removal can cost thousands of dollars per treatment. Hair usually won't grow back under your arm for 2 months. There is very little if any pain involved. The laser may cause skin irritation and redness to your underarm.

6.Electrolysis
Electrolysis underarm hair removal is a permanent way to remove underarm hair. Electrolysis treatment involves individually removing each underarm hair follicle. This is a tedious process that is usually performed over the course of several separate treatments. Hair will never grow under your arm again. Electrolysis is by far the most expensive way to remove underarm hair. It can cost thousands of dollars depending on your practitioner. Electrolysis treatment may cause scarring and irritation under your arms.

new laptop in the house

I mean Neo Laptop is in the houseOnion Head Emoticons, Noel brought a second hand laptop last Tuesday. He really wanted to have one ever since, so when his officemate (Mark) asked him if he wanted to buy his old laptop for only P14,000 ($292) for 4 months installment, he decided to take it. At first I disagreed with him to take it since I am a practical and positive thinker. I told him that I might win an Asus Laptop or a HP mini laptop from Nuffnang's latest contest. But, he said that it is okay if we have one for each other so that we can do our tasks in the computer at the same time. So, since he would be the one who will pay for it, I decided to let him do what he wants.

Onion Head EmoticonsAnyway, we really needed to upgrade our old Compaq computer (it was bought when his still in primary school, late 90's I think). Besides it has low memory and  it also consumes too much space in our living room. A laptop is definitely more convenient, since we can bring it anywhere in the house. I just hope we can use it for a long period of time just like our old Compaq computer.

Milk Tea a.k.a. Nai Cha

Noel (my husband) brought Nai Cha yesterday. We tried it first at Chowking, but it doesn't agree with our taste buds. I didn't even finished drinking the whole glass, since I feel like (excuse me...) vomiting.
onionhead vomit
Not until his officemates told him that there is a new store near in their office which sell Nai Cha the store is called "Tea Blends", and they said that it so delicious, curious as he was, he tried to buy one. And it's true, the tea there is so good I can't even share the tall glass with him. It's so smooth and creamy, I also loved the pearl sago in it. It was popularized first in Hong Kong, it is a black tea sweetened with evaporated milk and usually a part of afternoon meal. They like it hot, I like it cold.

I recommend this beverage to all my readers, although for me, the taste depends on the one who are preparing it.

What is the essence of a woman?

"Just being a woman is God's gift". "The origin of a child is a mother, a woman. Woman is sharing she shows a man what sharing, caring, and loving is all about. That is the essence of a woman."

This was the answer came from Sushmita Sen of India on the last 1994 Miss Universe Pageant held here in Manila. These words made her the Grand Winner of the said event.

I was in secondary school back then, and those words fascinate me.

But after having a hard time conceiving, we were married for almost 2 years until we had a son of our own and only then did I began to realize that I seem to disagree with what she said. For the 1st year of our marriage, the words like “Maybe you’re impotent and you are not capable of bearing a child” has no effect on me, Maybe it’s because my husband and I are still having fun together as a couple. But then another year came, and still I can’t bear a child. I was very frustrated every time my monthly period came. After talking with my husband, we then decided to ask for professional help. I had my ovary checked through transvaginal ultrasound and my husband agreed to have a sperm count. The results were all okay; the doctor told us to just take a rest and eliminate the stress and worries. We then prayed so hard every night, we even completed the 9 days of Midnight Novena Mass (a.k.a. Simbang Gabi) to fulfill our wish. And you know what; God is so good because the following year January of 2007, He gave us the most special gift we could ever receive… I tried the pregnancy test and the results were positive. It was a birthday gift for the two of us since we are both born in the month of January. I have proven to the world that I can bear a child.

But, is this really the purpose of being women? Although it is really fulfilling to have one, we must also consider those women who really can’t bear a child either by choice or being biologically impotent. Examples are the nuns, those bread winners in the family who have to take care of their families first before getting a family of their own and those who have medical problems.

For me I think that even if you cannot have a baby just as long as you are doing good to others, I think it is okay. You can still adopt a child if you want and raise them as your own.

House renovation dilemma

I really would love to have an oriental type of house, with a touch of the 4 elements: Earth, Water, Fire and Air. Although modern houses are great, I prefer staying at a place where it is calm and cozy.

Unfortunately, the house wherein we are currently staying was an inherited property from my late father and mother-in-law. It is a 64sq.meter lot with a 2 storey old house on it. I think this was built in late 80's and because of that, the foundations of the house is now slightly ruined. When my husband and I are still dating we haven't thought of buying a new house before getting married. Actually we didn't planned to get married at an early age last year 2004 ( I was just 23 years old then, and he was 27) but due to some unavoidable reasons, we need to be married that year (no, I was not pregnant at that time!). We don't have any savings back then, my father-in-law gave us some of his life time savings for the wedding.

Young at heart we were very excited for our wedding. We invited all the people we knew: close friends, relatives, old colleagues  and even those who are not. After celebration ended, and we are already facing how hard it is to have a married life, we have realized that we shouldn't have spent all the money for our wedding.  We should have just come up with a simplier one and  just invited only those who are really close to us. We should have just used the money his father gave us for a small invesment or business so that by now, we will financially stable.

I have to tell you this, because sometimes in our lives there are situations that we wish we haven't done, but it is through these mistakes that we will learned our lessons. That's why now my husband and I are wiser in spending our hard earned money. We had so many credit cards back then and it came a time when we can no longer pay debts due to financial crisis but now we are doing our best to be debt free.

Back on the topic, it’s already been weeks since I keep on thinking how are we going to renovate our old house. The rain is already starting to fall in our room upstairs because the wood supporting the roof already has termites on it. And that's just the bedroom, the kitchen and bathroom also need repairs. It sounds bad, isn’t it? Because of that, we can’t decide which part of the house we will be repairing first, since we don't have enough money to renovate the whole house at once. I think we really need some professional advice, I hope they will not ask for a very high professional fee. I really hope we can finish fixing our house before the next rainy season comes again.
onionhead mad

I've searched some celebrities houses that I want and wish to incorporate in our house someday.

this is from Ara Mina's house-  I love the window and the chandelier here.  It is very eco-friendly since air and light passes through the area.

this is Boy Abunda's bathroom- I like the accesories, though It would be better if the color is lighter.  Anyway, red color may represents the fire element.

this picture was taken from Bianca Gonzales room - do you still remember the show "At Home Ka Dito", hosted by Charlene Gonzalez, they are the one who did the makeover at Bianca's room.

What I love here was the bamboo headboard, it's gives the feeling of being close to nature. But, I think I like it more if the paint in the wall was light yellow or beige.

this was taken from Ai-Ai delas Alas "super sosyal" home- although I love the fountain, I don't think I can put one as big as this outside our house.  An indoor miniature type will do.

this was LJ Reyes dining area- what I love here was the Groto and the color scheme of the whole place.

Wow, this side garden of Christopher de leon is really great, this was what I am looking for almost a week in the web.  I love the see through polycarbonate roofing, you can entertain guest here rain or shine.

Seeing these houses, makes me more excited.  I really wish we had enough savings to cover the house renovation expenses. (sigh!)

5 small tomatoes, chopped
1/2 cup shrimp paste (Bagoong)
3 tablespoon cane vinegar
1 1/2 teaspoon sugar
3 eggplants, sliced diagonally
1/2 cup coconut cream
salt and pepper to taste

Cooking Instruction :
Place cubed liempo in a stockpot. Cover with water and let boil for at least 15 minutes. Prepare the rest of the ingredients while meat is cooking.
Pour corn oil into a hot pan. Saute garlic and onions until softened. Add tomatoes and cook until softened too. Stir-fry bagoong until aromatic then put in the boiled pork pieces and 1/2 cup of boiling water used to cook the pork.

Top 10 blogs that make huge amounts of money

I was just reading PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) a while ago when I scrolled down their site, and this article from Spot.ph caught my attention. They featured Manila's top 10 known blogs that make big bucks. I am so curios as to how did the authors of these blogs did it.

I have been blogging for almost a year now and yet I haven't reached the minimum payout on Adsense. Huh! Anyway, I grabbed the complete list at spot.ph to show you.

Enrico Dee
Byahilo.com

Blogs about: Travel
Groupie count: Around 3,000 loyal visitors a day
Cash in on this: Enrico earns around P20,000 to P40,000 a month, mostly from middleman ad scripts and a few direct advertisers on his blog.

Why he’s worth the money: Since 2004, Enrico, popularly known online as ‘Byahilo,’ has been documenting his jet-setting trips around the 7,107 islands of the Philippines. This instantly won the hearts of wanderlust-y Pinoys, who get inspiration from his travels and destination tips. Enrico quit his job to become a full-time travel blogger in 2009.

Biggest purchase so far? Since he travels a lot, most of his blog earnings go to plane tickets and pocket money whenever he hops from one island to the next.

Jehzeel Laurente
Jehzlau-Concepts.com

Blogs about: IQ puzzles (with prizes) and the usual observations about everyday life
Groupie count: 30,000 hits a day, just on his main blog
Cash in on this: He refused to divulge his online earnings, but from the sheer popularity of some of his blogs, we’d say P10,000 to P15,000 a month is a decent estimate.

Why he’s worth the money: His blog may look like it was made by a kid straight out of kindergarten, but don’t be fooled by this innocent façade. Jehzeel may very well be one of the several Pinoy SEO experts online, critical knowledge to master for blog marketing. For what it’s worth, let’s say he’s good enough to devote 100% of his time to blogging after quitting his job just last year.

Biggest purchase so far? He’s opting for the cryptic route by saying that one of the items in his living room right now is worth P200,000, all paid for by the blogging gods. Care to venture a guess?

Micaela Francesca Rodriguez
Micamyx.com
Blogs about: Showbiz gossip, personal experiences
Cash in on this: We estimate she earns about P5,000 to P6,000, which she spends to enjoy “a delectable piece of Krispy Kreme doughnut with iced mocha on the side from time to time.”

Why she’s worth the money: Mica has been recognized as one of the emerging influential bloggers of 2008 for MissingCarlo.com, a blog about a brother suffering from autism. Her personal blogs, on the other hand, are insightful, to the point and occasionally witty. Most of her earnings, however, come from a network of Pinoy showbiz fan blogs she co-established with other bloggers—you know how hungry Pinoys can get for gossip and showbiz updates.

Biggest purchase so far? She went to Boracay with grandparents and best friend in tow, all thanks to blogging money. When she earns enough, she hopes to produce her own short film soon.

Abe Olandres
YugaTech.com
Blogs about: Technology
Groupie count: Around 500,000 hits a month
Cash in on this: He earns around $5,000 a month from his technology blogs, but he cashes in on business investments and consulting as well.

Why he’s worth the money: Abe may very well be one of the earliest pro bloggers out there, with his technology blog being the main revenue stream since 2005. He’s been featured in a number of publications and TV shows because of this, and we see no end to his blogging growth.

Biggest purchase so far? A brand new Hyundai Tucson and a piece of property in windy and chilly Tagaytay.

Juned Sonido
Baratillo.net
Blogs about: Wise words, self-help, odds and ends
Cash in on this: When he first started earning through blogging, he earned around $40 to $70 a month from blog networks. His earnings haven’t gone lower than that since, and most of the blogs he now runs earns about P5,000 to P6,000 per month each.

Why he’s worth the money: If you want to discover conventional wisdom online, then Juned is your man. His personal blog is a treasure trove of insightful stories he often relates with real-life issues and topics. His other blogs focus on a number of interesting things, from books to photography and even interesting finds from what he calls ‘the Cubao picayune.’

Biggest purchase so far? He buys mostly “extra”stuff—books, flipflops, occasional dinner for loved ones and friends—since his day job remains his main income stream.

Fitz Villafuerte

FitzVillafuerte.com
ThirstyBlogger.com

Blogs about: How to be rich, drinking
Groupie count: 1,500 page views a day
Cash in on this: At least USD $1,000 a month.

Why he’s worth the money: Are you ready to be rich? Are you thirsty? Fitz quenches your thirst for money by providing you with online marketing and earning tips on his main blog. He dons another cap and fulfills your thirst for information about drinking as “The Thirsty Blogger.”

Biggers purchase so far? A laptop. But he plans to purchase a business franchise soon.

Winson Almendras
BatangYagit.com
Blogs about: Anything and everything, from his love of rain to travels abroad
Groupie count: 300 hits on his main blog, around 10,000 a day on his other blogs
Cash in on this: He says his earnings are enough to qualify for a ‘payout’ from ad networks every month. We estimate this to range from $50 to $100, depending on the service. Winston owns several blogs, and he mostly earns from ads supplied by Google Adsense and BlogBank, a local blog ads network.

Why he’s worth the money: His blog moniker can be quite misleading, since how can a yagit earn and learn his way through the Internet, right? But Winston’s personal blog is a mere testament to his journey, which is comparable to any rags-to-riches story. If you don’t trust us, then let his People’s Choice Award from last year’s Philippine Blog Awards do the talking.

Biggest purchase so far? He couldn’t wait to get his hands on them, so when he cashed his earnings he immediately went to buy a Nikon D90 and its corresponding set of lenses.

Anton Diaz
OurAwesomePlanet.com
Blogs about: Food, travel, experiences
Cash in on this: He said he removed all the ads from his blog recently as part of a test, but when they were still there, we’d say normal AdSense ads in blogs with such a high traffic rate can produce an easy P10,000 a month.

Why he’s worth the money: If you think our planet is awesome, then Anton Diaz agrees with you. As a travel and food blogger providing useful insights on great gastronomic and wanderlust finds, he has easily attracted a lot of visitors with clever narrations of trips and dates, punctuated by mouth-watering and awe-inspiring photos.

Biggest purchase so far? He’s invested in an Internet Marketing Education program worth $2,000.

Jayvee Fernandez
ABuggedLife.com
Blogs about: Techie stuff, cool hangouts
Groupie count: We’ve lost track
Cash in on this: He’s lost track as well, given that he manages a lot of online blogs and sites that bring in the cash. For him, making money online goes beyond blogging, for it is just “the tip of the iceberg,” he quips. Technically, he only earns about P6,000 a month per ad from his blog, but he earns a lot more than that from writing for a blog network and co-owning local blog ad network, BlogBank.

Why he’s worth the money: Being a lifestyle/technology blogger, expect a lot of gadget reviews and cool places to hang out from him. He always makes it a point to be fair with his reviews, stating things point-blank whenever necessary.

Biggest purchase so far? A DSLR camera.

Blogs about: Fashion, himself
Groupie count: It’s easy to lose track—he has lots of fans all over the world! But one site places it at 100,000 hits per day.
Cash in on this: With full top, bottom and sidebar ads from all over the place, we’d say US$1,000 is pretty shy of how much Le Superstar Fableux actually earns through his blog.

Why he’s worth the money: No blogging list is complete without mentioning the bag-toting, jet-setting BryanBoy, who easily captured not only the Philippines but the entire world, with his pointed comments and sharp remarks about the ins and out of the fashion world. He’s been featured in major fashion magazines worldwide, and a Canadian department store recently created an “I ♥ Bryan Boy” window in his honor. Want to get a visual idea why he’s worth all the dough? Check out his vast gallery of ‘I love Bryan Boy’ photos—sent by fans from every nook and cranny of the globe.

Biggest purchase so far? He doesn’t need to ‘buy things’ (although he does, and how!). People make things for him—just look at Marc Jacobs, who named one of his 2008 Ostrich bags “BB,” after Bryan Boy.

Wow! How I wish I will receive my pay out soon. Upon checking, it's already $86.06, hope it arrive before my son's 2nd birthday this August.

All about Boils or Pigsa

Having this kind of skin disease for some, is very shameful. I think it's because people think that having it means that you have poor hygiene. I will not even admit if ever I will have one 'cause it is really embarrassing. But, I did some research about this so that we will all be educated.

Boil- is a localized infection deep in the skin. They begin as red, tender swellings, which may later ooze pus. Some people have recurrent boils. A boil is also called a skin abscess.

What causes a Boil?
There are many causes of boils. Some boils can be caused by an ingrown hair. Others can form as the result of a splinter or other foreign material that has become lodged in the skin. Others boils, such as those of acne, are caused by plugged sweat glands that become infected.

The skin is an essential part of our immune defense against materials and microbes that are foreign to our body. Any break in the skin, such as a cut or scrape, can develop into an abscess should it become infected with bacteria.

Who is most likely to develop a boil?
Anyone can develop a boil, regardless of age, gender or race. For some, it occurs during puberty since sweat glands are already forming. However, people with certain illnesses or medications that impair the body's immune system (the natural defense system against foreign materials or microbes) are more likely to develop boils. Among the illnesses that can be associated with impaired immune systems are diabetes and kidney failure.

How are Boils treated?
Your doctor may drain a large boil or carbuncle by making a small incision in the tip. This relieves pain, speeds recovery and helps lessen scarring. Deep infections that can't be completely drained may be covered with sterile gauze so that pus can continue to drain. Sometimes your doctor may prescribe antibiotics to help heal severe or recurrent infections.

These home remedies may help the infection heal more quickly and prevent it from spreading:
1. Apply a warm washcloth or compress to the affected area. Do this for at least 10 minutes every few hours. If possible, first soak the cloth or compress in warm salt water. This helps the boil rupture and drain more quickly.
2. Gently wash the boil two to three times a day. After washing, apply an over-the-counter antibiotic and cover with a bandage.
Never squeeze or lance a boil. This can spread the infection.
3. Wash your hands thoroughly after treating a boil. Also, launder clothing, towels or compresses that have touched the infected area.

How can boils be prevented?
Although it's not always possible to prevent boils, especially if you have a compromised immune system, the following measures may help you avoid staph infections:

1. Wash your hands regularly with mild soap. Or, use an alcohol-based hand rub often. Careful hand washing is your best defense against germs.
2. Thoroughly clean even small cuts and scrapes. Wash the wound well with soap and water and apply an over-the-counter antibiotic ointment.
3. Keep wounds covered. Keep cuts and abrasions clean and covered with sterile, dry bandages until they heal.
4. Keep personal items personal. Avoid sharing personal items, such as towels, sheets, razors, clothing and athletic equipment. Staph infections can spread via objects as well as from person to person. If you have a cut or sore, wash your towels and linens using detergent and hot water with added bleach and dry them in a hot dryer.

Wish he is still alive!

He entertained the world through his song and dance moves. He didn't fail to bring joy to his audiences every time he's at the center stage. He gave up his childhood for his family and fans. Some people hate him, because he's always accused as a child molester, but it has never been proven. Some may think that he's got everything: popularity, power and of course lots of money. Yet, is he happy?

I don't know him personally, but why am I sad now that his gone?
I am not even a fan, I just know him because he is very popular, but why am I crying? I can't even explain why I'm so lonely.

Maybe because the world is not fair at him. He gave joy to everyone who listens to his music and watches him perform, yet he didn't received it in return. He died a lonely man.

Somehow, at the back of my mind, I keep on thinking that maybe he's not yet dead. Maybe the person in the stretcher was one of his impersonators. Or, maybe he paid the rescuers, the doctors and the media to tell that he's gone.

I think, he's just there, away from the urban world. Living a peaceful life on a tropical island, or on a undiscovered rain forest or maybe at the top of the mountain and enjoying a cup of coffee. He always wanted to retire to a peaceful life, and this is his way of doing it. Away from us, away from the paparazzi and everyone.

Maybe he's not yet dead.
Maybe.....

Yet, wherever you are Jacko you're music will live forever. You're always be here in our hearts through every generation.

I hope you're happy now, all the pain is now gone. We love you dude! FAREWELL....
