A disposable diaper saved the life of a falling baby

A disposable diaper has saved the life of a baby boy, breaking his fall from a third-floor apartment window in SAO PAULO, Brazil. The 18-month-old boy named Caua Felipe Massaneiro (not the baby in the photo, he is my son, renren because I wanted to get a picture of a disposable diaper and a cute baby boy, so here it is :)) miraculously survived a 10-meter because his diaper luckyly got caught on a security spike embedded on the concrete wall around the apartment building where it had happened.
A witness said that the boy dangled on the spike for a few seconds until the diaper broke and the baby fell to the ground, but at a much slower speed. "The diaper obviously lessened the impact of the fall and saved the baby's life.", the Police Officer said.
The child was quickly rushed to the hospital and was treated for minor fractures.
Police has began an investigation to determine how the boy fell out the window and "if parental negligence was one of the causes," the police officer later said.
Caua's father, 23-year-old Alexandre Cesar Massaneiro said that his son climbed onto a sofa underneath the window he fell from - "something he had never done before."
"It wasn't the diaper that saved him," the father said. "It was God."
