Saw this awhile back at winterson and I just had to share this with you because it truly made me laugh! ;)
Jeremy bought a STARWARS Revenge of the Sith movie on DVD which is "ahem" pirated", well the movie thankfully had english translated subtitles, it which, he graciously upload on his site, here are some of the screencaps from the DVD.
The scrolling text is still mistranslated even though the words are right there on the screen.
Star war singular only.
"The backstroke of the West", yes this is what I think is the translation of Revenge of the Sith in Chinese. :)
Real translation: "this is where the fun begins"
Real Translation: "let them pass between us"
Yup, he has every reason to be fearful.
Yo, Obi Wan your a true space battle strategist.
obi wan grows impatient with r2.
the Chancellor warns Anakin and Obi wan that Count Dooku is... big.
But Obi wan quickly assures the Chancellor that it's not a problem.lesson learned: Never buy pirated DVDs, hehehe
for the entire movie, see it here.

Now for something new, wanna watch Starwars: A New Hope in ASCII? I thought you would, there's a lot of things you can end up doing when you're bored, and as Simon Jansen is happy to admit, animating Star Wars in ASCII text is one of them. Telnetified by Snore (a "whacked Dutch hardware geek" called Sten)
He's done a grand job of it though - it amazing what you can do with a little imagination - all you have to do is:
1. Open Windows and go to Start, then run.
2. Type in or copy "telnet towel.blinkenlights.nl" without the aphostrophes .
3. Sit back and watch the ASCII movie :)
French photographer Cedric Delsaux has created a series of photos where he puts Star Wars characters and vehicles and transplants them into modern day urban locations.
